Chic Toronto Engagement Session at Archive Studios – I always love shooting here, it’s also a beautiful space to get ready in the day of a wedding.

There’s something so special about a crisp, sunny day in Toronto—especially when there are the earliest signs of spring in the air.

Jinny and Matthew’s March engagement session was the perfect blend of classic elegance and relaxed joy. We started the day at Archive Studios, which gave us beautiful indoor light and a chic neutral backdrop. Their black-tie-inspired outfits for this portion were so polished – Jinny wore a sleek one-shoulder black dress and Matthew a cream suit with a bow tie. Despite being a little nervous at first, they quickly settled in. Before long, they were laughing, joking, and completely immersed in the moment with each other.

From there, we headed to walk around the city – which is my favourite way to approach a city session. Just watching great light and interesting moments unfold. The sun was shining, but let me tell you—it was cold. When we weren’t standing directly in the sun, we were definitely feeling that March chill.

They’re clearly so excited to get married which is the way it should be. Being engaged is such a special time,
