Frequently Asked Questions

First thing, please send me an email and we can make sure I’m free on your wedding date. We can schedule a call to review any other questions you may have. After that you can pay the deposit and sign the contract and we are all set!

For weddings a $1,500 retainer is due at the time of booking. I require 50% of the remaining balance 6 weeks before the wedding and the remaining balance is due when I finish editing and the gallery is ready.

I have been shooting weddings full time for 11 years!

I love editing images with colours that look real and timeless – photos that will look just as beautiful in 30 years as they do today, with natural skin tones. I don’t follow styles like ‘light and airy’ or ‘dark and moody’ – I simply let the moment speak for itself.

I live in the east end of Toronto in the beaches. We have a family cottage up on Georgian Bay in Honey Harbour and that allows me to work easily up in that region in the summers as well.

Absolutely, amongst all the candid storytelling of the day, I will absolutely make sure that you have some elegant posed photos as well.

It really depends on the day – but generally it’s around 75 photos per hour I’m with you, but there is no cap or limit on what I send. I promise you will have great photos of every part of the day.

Of course, formal family portraits are an important part of the day and they are another part of the day I approach traditionally.

For weddings I usually delivery around 6-8 weeks, during peak season 10 weeks would be the longest. I will send you some previews 3-4 weeks after the wedding.

Absolutely this is something I offer, I love smaller creative weddings, generally speaking for these small packages it’s usually only for weekdays during busy wedding season – please reach and we can discuss further.

I believe that everyone is beautiful just as they are and I don’t alter the way people look – I will happily remove temporary things like a blemish, bruise, stain etc. If you have anything you’re self conscious about that’s something you can communicate with me before the wedding day and I’ll do my best to keep it in mind.

Fortunately, I have never been sick and missed a wedding, and I will come almost no matter what – but I do have a network of Toronto photographers and I will do my absolute best to make sure someone qualified would take my place, were the worst to happen.
