My Approach
Thank you for coming to read about my work and my approach. I bring a high level of dedication and communication to all of my couples. This begins at booking all the way up until your wedding day.
The element that interests me most about photography and weddings is the people; wedding days contain an amazing mix of moments and emotions.
Leading up to your wedding I will do my best to make sure we are on the same page, that you feel informed and at ease. I want your photos to transport you back to the joy you felt on your wedding day. For the basics please read my FAQ
More About My Approach
I’m focused on capturing all the natural and authentic moments that tell the story of your wedding day. I love to observe all the beautiful moments that occur organically and document them as part of your story.
On your wedding day I am unobtrusive and move with the flow of the day, I don’t want to put you through the same series of poses, I might make some small suggestions or offer light direction to make sure you feel comfortable in front of my camera, but I am mainly focused on natural moments as they unfold.
I’m a naturally laid back person, always positive and calm under pressure, my work reflects this.
I have been shooting weddings for over 10 years, and I believe that with communication and experience that you can have a stress free experience with beautiful photos at the end.
I work with such lovely and genuine people, I’m really inspired by all of my couple’s beautiful and interesting stories. I love to work with couples that trust me and like my work, and will just focus on enjoying their day.
My style doesn’t fit into a box – light and airy – dark and moody – I don’t paint every moment of a wedding with the same brush; to me a moment has its own mood, I’m simply there to see that and enhance it.
Much like editing, my approach is collaborative – your wedding, your venue, and your story are all unique. Together we will approach the day with the parts that are most meaningful to you and I will work to tell your story around that.
