Cozy Fall Engagement Photos

Cozy Fall Engagement Photos in a beautiful century farmhouse. This was a day that many people would consider rescheduling the session. It was cold, overcast and the rain came in right at the end of the session, but Emily + Adam were game to keep with the plan. The weather really brought out the moody fall feelings in this session, and while I’m sad that summer is ending, I’ll admit I enjoyed the session. I’m always happy marching around in a field as well, especially late summer and fall, the grasses and flowers have all blossomed into a tangle of colours and texture that are a pleasure to work with.

I have been so busy with engagement sessions this fall, there are many more on my main page here.

Strangely this has been my third session out in the Hamilton area this season, each to a completely different location, Hamilton is full of natural beauty and many amazing locations for photoshoots, I just don’t love the traffic getting there.

I hope you enjoy these cozy fall engagement photos and it gives you some inspiration if you’re considering a similar vibe. Tomorrow I’m off to Kurtz Orchard to shoot a beautiful wedding, the same place these two are getting married next summer. I haven’t shot a lot of fall weddings at Kurtz and I’m looking forward to seeing the change in landscape. I’m used to the vines being bright green in the height of summer. I have so much work to share, including a beautiful engagement session I shot in Georgian Bay, Honey Harbour, last weekend over Thanksgiving.
