Modern Elegant Royal Conservatory of Music wedding
This elegant Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) wedding was modern but full of classic details. Kaitlin + James had a beautiful day with family and friends at the centre of every moment. Their decor was modern and light, but the evening was all about the speeches, family and friends talking about the bonds that brought them together, and ultimately had Kaitlin move across the country to be with James.
These two met on Match, and James tucked a printout of the very first incredibly sincere message that Kaitlin had sent him years earlier, which was so sweet. I am always amazed at how people can go from strangers to the most important person in your life, love is truly transformative and I think one of the closest things to magic we see in every day life.
If you’re considering a Royal Conservatory of Music wedding, it’s not surprising, it features amazing windows, fantastic light and flow for your guests. I like venues that don’t box you off in a small area while they flip a room around. Alex from Blush & Bowties masterfully brought this space to life, and White Oak did the light and delicate floral arrangements. The location is fantastic, surrounded by U of T, Avenue Rd and Bloor Street there’s no shortage of locations to take your wedding photos, and it’s central in the heart of Toronto. I like venues that feel special when you walk in to them, and this one meets the criteria.
We took Kaitlin + James’ photos around Osgoode Hall, which is always a classic location in the area, and it really suited their wedding attire, Kaitlin’s elegant beaded wedding dress and James’ sharp tuxedo. Kaitlin got ready at the Four Seasons.
