The Cape Mansion Wedding – PEC

The Cape Mansion Wedding – PEC Venue

I first set eyes on the Cape mansion a few years ago when I was shooting a friend’s wedding in Picton. I stayed in the hotel next door and I thought ‘wow, that is a spectacular place, I would LOVE to shoot a wedding there’ – Kelly reached out last year to say she was having a Cape Mansion wedding and I was so excited about this dream coming true!

Kelly wore an amazing dress by Mikaella Bridal it suited her perfectly and the vibe of the day.

Kelly and Geoff’s wedding was a vibe, they are a couple that cared about the stuff that matters; friends, enjoying the day and a wild party to finish the night. The whole day was smooth and relaxed, but also incredibly elegant and enjoyable. We still fit in all the formalities, but it was done with ease and it didn’t take away from the fun.

One thing I love about weddings is new experiences and places, so I’m happy to find myself out in PEC for weddings. Price Edward County is full of adorable venues. I hope to be back for another Cape Mansion wedding in the near future.

I had a great 2022 wedding season, it made me reflect on how much I love doing this job, after two years of being kind of on hold with covid it was a great feeling. I took on a few less clients to balance my life a bit more and spend time with my family and my growing daughter. Anyway, I have been shooting weddings for 12 years, which blows my mind, but I still find it inspiring, but I will say I’m more client focused than wedding focused than I was when I started. I feel more collaborative and in tune with what my clients want more than ever, and it brings me greater satisfaction.
